Between July 1966 and January 1967, WBAI Radio in New York City recorded a series of extended conversations between John Cage and Morton Feldman. These five ‘Radio Happenings’ covered a multitude of topics and unfold in a natural, improvisational manner, providing an extraordinary record of artistic, social and politic concerns of two major twentieth century artists.

Though currently in its early stages of development, the Cage & Feldman project will ultimately be a concert-installation that will weave music from both these composers around their spoken words, exploring philosophical themes that recur and develop.
